L'Institut français de Lettonie, basé à Riga, participe activement à la diplomatie d’influence de la France aux côtés d’autres services de l’Ambassade de France en Lettonie, dont il fait partie intégrante.

En sus de notre activité autour des cours de français, notre ambition est de mettre en valeur toutes les facettes de l’excellence française (nouvelles technologies, industries culturelles et créatives, numérique, patrimoine, débats d’idées, etc.) au service de l’influence et du rayonnement de la France dans une approche résolument innovante et pluridisciplinaire auprès de publics les plus larges !

The French Institute in Latvia on a mission to promote the influence of French culture

Located in Riga, the French Institute in Latvia, which depends directly from the French Embassy in Latvia, contributes actively to the implementation of the French cultural diplomacy together with the other departments of the French Embassy in Latvia.

In addition to our heart mission of teaching French language through our Language centre, we strive to highlight the multi-faceted nature of the French excellence (in various fields such as the new information technologies, cultural and creative industries, digital culture, talks and debates, etc.) on a mission to spread the influence of France thanks to a completely innovative and multidisciplinary approach for the widest range of audiences.

Francijas institūts Latvijā - Francijas vēstniecības Latvijā struktūrvienība, kopīgi ar citiem vēstniecības dienestiem aktīvi iesaistās Francijas ietekmes diplomātijas īstenošanā.

Mūsu mērķis ir iepazīstināt visplašāko interesentu loku ar Francijas izcilību visdažādākajās jomās (jaunās tehnoloģijas, kultūras un radošās industrijas, digitālā joma, kultūras mantojums, diskusijas par sabiedrībā aktuālām tēmām, u.c.), izmantojot innovatīvu un daudzdisciplināru pieeju, kā arī piedāvāt franču valodas kursus.
