We are looking for a Startup Relations Manager to join our team starting from mid-October 2021, full-time. The primary work responsibilities include attracting local and international startups (i.e. sales) to the event, handling the Fifty Founders Battle pitch competition, and cooperating with the Investor Relations manager to make some deals happen. But the role goes beyond the description of daily tasks. It is your chance to take ownership of projects and see them have a real impact on the ecosystem.

As one of the key members of the team you will represent a vital part of the startup ecosystem, will learn about the startup scene globally, and get to meet various industry leaders that will constantly open new doors.

What will you be doing?

• Develop the overall strategy and planning activities for startup attraction
• Develop and execute the sales campaign (as part of the sales team)
• Oversee the Fifty Founders Battle pitch competition
• Connect startups with investors
• Curate startup engagement activities during the TechChill event

What are we looking for?

• Fluency in English (Latvian is nice to have)
• Good communication skills
• Basic understanding of sales processes
• Ability to manage workflow for yourself and others (team, volunteers, outsource, partners)
• Genuine interest in the tech and startup scene
• Prior experience working within the startup ecosystem is a plus, but not a must-have
