Role & Responsibilities:

• Provide day to day support to Managers and Assistant Managers in servicing clients by participating in client meetings, assisting with preparing service proposals and organising other communication with the client, as well as where relevant with the tax authorities and tax specialists in other countries;
• Prepare tax and other calculations, draft advice letters, analyse and interpret tax laws, regulations and guidelines and prepare presentations;
• Follow KPMG best practice and standards, and continuously improve your tax knowledge, as well as communication, writing and other soft skills needed for delivering high quality services in fast paced environment.

Experience and Education

• University degree (or the final year of studies) in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Law, Management or Business Administration;
• Experience in tax that includes proficiency either in corporate tax, personal income tax, value added tax or transfer pricing will be considered an advantage.

Technical skills

• You having general understanding of tax regulations and calculation principles will be seen as advantage
• You are fluent in Latvian and English, both written and spoken;
• You have good command of MS Tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, MS Teams).
