What we're looking for 👀 

Nordigen is in search of a Data Quality Analyst eager to dig deep into our databases, question methods and assumptions, and own processes related to data quality.

You will work side by side with the rockstars of Nordigen that research, prototype, develop and maintain the infrastructure that processes millions of bank account statements a month. Nordigen is entering the exciting phase of exponential growth and aiming to expand our suite of Premium services and, therefore, the Data team.

What excites you 🤩

• Independent work dedicated to exploration and analysis of data quality;
• Data profiling and cleansing - examine, query, and manipulate data according to defined business rules and procedures, and propose new procedures when applicable;
• Work with data scientists and developers to correct data quality errors;
• Operate in an iterative mindset focusing on details;

With time:

• Potentially, summarize findings via reports, data insights dashboards, and visualizations;
• Participate in research and development projects;

What excites us 😍

• Proficiency in Excel usage for data profiling and analysis;
• Good knowledge of SQL and at least a basic understanding of relational databases;
• Experience processing, cleansing, and verifying the integrity of data used for analysis;
• The versatility and willingness to learn new technologies on the job;
• Independent curiosity and critical thinking;
• History of taking initiative and questioning assumptions;
• Strong written & verbal English communication skills;

Nice to have: 

• Knowledge of Python and/or R for data manipulations and data analytics;
• Knowledge of data visualization tools like PowerBI or Tableau;
• Familiarity with concepts of text analytics and practical application on text data;
• Experience with large data sets and exposure to big data challenge;
• Knowledge of statistical methods and data mining concepts for data analysis;
• Familiarity with best practices of software development, including version control and testing;
• University degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Physics, Computer Science or similar;
