We invite you to join 2 trainings on Sustainable Activism on the 27th and 29th of September, at 7-9PM EEST, facilitated by Sunčica Lazanski.
Activism is a life choice driven by adrenaline and a strong sense of justice. It is empowering and change-oriented. But being an activist is both one of the most rewarding and most emotionally demanding choices you can make.
The ability to face the reality, despair and the volume of the injustices coming out of many pores of the world can play with your head.
About the content of the trainings:
This workshop is aimed to empower brave people to navigate change, find meaning in despair, learn some tips & tricks about human denialism as well as face their emotional turbulence.
Through two meetings of two hours, we will discuss/work through personal, interpersonal and system changes around and inside us.
Your sorrow, grief, joy and anger will be welcomed with psychological and counselling tools where we will create safe spaces and (re)define resilience.
About the facilitator:
Sunčica Lazanski is a passionate human rights and environmental activist with background in psychology.
Interested in figuring out how to encourage everyone to engage in social justice and very keen on combining counseling skills to the activist arena and group processes. Sunčica is fully committed to building a society where humans and nature can live in true cohabitation.
A note on accessibility of the event:
⮕The webinar will be held in English, however, translation is possible (please indicate your needs upon registration).
⮕The webinar will take place on Zoom, and include automatic captioning.
