👏Join this presentation that will introduce with knowledge about the fat liberation movement through insights in the existing intersections with other social justice movements.

Building on this knowledge, we will explain how body liberation principles are a new, yet crucial approach to make youth work and the interconnected forms of activism more inclusive to all bodies, and present a few ready-to-use nonformal education tools developed within the project "Body liberation for gender equality".

☝️ This will NOT be a practical hands-on workshop, but after the presentation you will be able to engage in Q&A session. Main language of the event is English.

CONTENT:
By the end of this event you can expect to have learned about terminology and history of fat liberation movement that tackles fatphobia (size discrimination, weight bias, etc.), its connections to racism, ableism, capitalism, and queer movements. You will also receive insight in ways how to go about it in your daily life and in your work with people (especially youth).
