🎬 Are you interested in filmmaking, digital storytelling and media creation? Do you want to learn by actually making films and explore how creative media can become a practical tool in youth work?
Life in It is a practical Erasmus+ learning journey for youth workers, volunteers, educators, trainers, project coordinators and people involved in communication within their organisations.
The programme brings together participants from across Europe to develop digital and media competences through hands-on filmmaking, storytelling and creative collaboration, while connecting these skills with sustainability and eco-responsible practices in youth work.
💡 During the programme, you will:
- Learn filmmaking and storytelling through practical, hands-on activities
- Work in international teams and create films together
- Experiment with media tools and develop digital storytelling skills
- Explore how video and storytelling can be used in youth work and organisational communication
- Take your learning back to your organisation and community and put it into practice
- Explore how storytelling can be adapted to shorter, vertical formats for social media
- Experience learning, sustainability and community life close to nature
🦸 This programme is for you if you are:
- A youth worker, volunteer, educator, trainer, project coordinator, or involved in your organisation’s communication
- Interested in filmmaking, storytelling, digital media and creative communication
- Curious to learn by doing, even if you have no previous filmmaking experience
- Motivated to develop new digital and media competences
- Interested in bringing what you learn back to your organisation and community
- Ready to work and learn in an international group
- Ready to take part in the whole Life in It journey

Active Rainbow was founded in 2014 and started at first as a self-organized initiative. Since 2020, it is an organization in Latvia.
Our team is active in the field of youth work and in the implementation of learning programs for the past 11 years, working on a local, national, European and international level. We have established and leading a sustainable network of organizations, collectives and informal groups working with LGBTQIA+/Queer Education, and sharing mutual values for increasing the quality of inclusive, intersectional, accessible and safe youth work.

- Support (young) people in their personal and professional development - equipping them with lifelong skills
- Offer safe and inclusive educational environments for everyone without discrimination, especially to LGBTQIA+ people
- Promote and participate in the development of youth work and the training of youth workers and educators
- Promote the initiatives of young people
- Increase the visibility of non-formal learning as a type of activism
- Offer and foster volunteering opportunities, building young activists and social changemakers
- Develop and sustain an engaged and connected network of organizations, fostering international cooperation and cross-cultural exchange
- Create a more inclusive and cohesive society to ensure equal opportunities for all to achieve full potential in life
