🏳️🌈🏳️⚧️In Imagine Otherwise, we will dive together into a workshop inspired by Theater of the Oppressed, weaving together creative writing, Image Theater, and Forum Theater elements. While these are just two of the six formats within the methodology, they open spaces for dialogue, reflection, and action.
🎭Through gently guided exercises, we will engage in embodied exploration, collective imagination, and shared discussion. This is a space to question, reframe, and experiment, drawing from the core value of community.
🌈All experience levels are welcome. If you’re new to Theater of the Oppressed, you’ll receive an introduction. If you already have experience, you’ll have the opportunity to deepen your practice in a collaborative setting.
Please wear comfortable clothes you can move in. We will provide refreshing drinks, snacks, and a welcoming atmosphere, just bring your curiosity and openness.
The project was created by Synchro Foundation and co-funded by the Erasmus+ programme and Erasmus+ Jeugd.
We are an educational platform and community of people that celebrate personal growth and inclusivity. Our platform is open, accessible, and welcomes everyone who is interested in non-formal learning, mobility opportunities, and contributing their verse to society.
Active Rainbow was founded in 2014 and started at first as a self-organized initiative. Since 2020, it is an organization in Latvia.
Our team is active in the field of youth work and in the implementation of learning programs for the past 11 years, working on a local, national, European and international level. We have established and leading a sustainable network of organizations, collectives and informal groups working with LGBTQIA+/Queer Education, and sharing mutual values for increasing the quality of inclusive, intersectional, accessible and safe youth work.
[Our Vision] We contribute to the creation of a world where diversity is welcomed and celebrated as a value.
[Our Mission] We are committed to strengthen the implementation of Human Rights and improve the quality of LGBT+ spectrum education, by offering learning opportunities for people to grow and thrive.
Our motto is - learning made simple, yet significant.
