Are you ready to join us on a 3-week Advocacy Digital Learning program, as we gear up for the GLF Climate held next to the Climate COP26?

The Youth in Landscapes Initiative (YIL) and the Global Landscape Forum (GLF), together with organizations from the #GenerationRestoration Youth Hub (co-facilitated with the World Economic Forum’s 1t.org platform), will create #GenerationRestoration: The Advocacy Odyssey, a digital learning program on youth advocacy for ecosystem restoration to support people’s livelihoods, address the climate crisis, and halt the collapse of biodiversity.

The learning program will take place in October 2021, and will foster horizontal learning, with young and youth-in-heart people sharing their experience, aiming to explore different advocacy approaches regarding climate and ecosystem restoration and improve skills related to negotiations, storytelling, and taking legal action for the environment.

• The 3-week Advocacy Online Learning Journey is a fully digital event, all activities will be held online therefore participants will also be expected to be online.

The program is designed for students and young professionals between 18 to 35 years old that:

• Have a strong interest in getting involved with advocating for the climate at a local, national, regional or global level;
• Want to contribute to the co-creation of a global youth narrative around ecosystem restoration;
• Are leading or are taking part in creating a youth-led advocacy project related to climate or ecosystem restoration (preferable, but not required).

Participants will complete the program with a thorough understanding of how to become change agents at all levels, from local to global.
