🌸 We’re inviting you to “Few words about care.”, a gentle Creative Writing & Self-Care workshop. This session offers a space to slow down, reconnect with yourself, and explore your inner world through words and then reach out to the collective. Through guided prompts and reflective writing exercises, we’ll explore themes of care, rest and emotional awareness in a supportive and relaxed environment.

📅 Thursday 02.04, 18:15-20:15
📍 LGBT House, Stabu iela 19
📝 Want to participate? Fill in the application form here: https://forms.gle/suwEN3dX4BSznAzc6

🌻 This workshop is open to anyone who feels the need to pause and reconnect. No writing experience is required; the focus is not on “good writing,” but on honest expression and noticing what comes up during the process. Creative writing can be a powerful tool for processing emotions, clarifying thoughts, connecting with others and practicing self-compassion. You will be invited to write, reflect, and (optionally) share in a supportive circle, participating only in ways that feel comfortable for you.

☕️ Materials will be provided, but feel free to bring your own notebook and favorite pen. We will provide hot and cold beverages, snacks and you can also bring your own to share.

We really hope to see you there. 🦋🌻

🦋 What is the Collective Act?

The Collective Act is a long-term, care-centered Erasmus+ KA2 project that brings together youth workers, young people, and communities to explore mental health, emotional regulation, and peer support through non-formal education.

The project is co-funded by the European Union through the Erasmus+ programme, which is administered in Latvia by Jaunatnes starptautisko programmu aģentūra. It is a small-scale partnership programme, coming out of the collaboration between Active Rainbow and Peemoti Keskus / @peemotikeskus 🇪🇪.

Active Rainbow

We are an educational platform and community of people that celebrate personal growth and inclusivity. Our platform is open, accessible, and welcomes everyone who is interested in non-formal learning, mobility opportunities, and contributing their verse to society.

Active Rainbow was founded in 2014 and started at first as a self-organized initiative. Since 2020, it is an organization in Latvia.

Our team is active in the field of youth work and in the implementation of learning programs for the past 11 years, working on a local, national, European and international level. We have established and leading a sustainable network of organizations, collectives and informal groups working with LGBTQIA+/Queer Education, and sharing mutual values for increasing the quality of inclusive, intersectional, accessible and safe youth work.

[Our Vision] We contribute to the creation of a world where diversity is welcomed and celebrated as a value.

[Our Mission] We are committed to strengthen the implementation of Human Rights and improve the quality of LGBT+ spectrum education, by offering learning opportunities for people to grow and thrive.

Our motto is - learning made simple, yet significant.
