ACTIVITY DESCRIPTION

We receive each year 4 volunteers from all over Europe. URBAN PROD leads projects aiming at helping youngsters build their own digital project as well as participate in various activities with and for people with fewer opportunities. URBAN PROD organization is participative and encourages learning from pair-emulation Multidisciplinary team provides a technical and human frame that allows volunteers to easily find their place and maximize their experience. During a year in URBAN PROD, volunteer will benefit: - Arrival meetings and trainings about URBAN PROD projects and objectives, discovery of the social and cultural context, - Some help from audio-visual professionals to develop his/her own project And will participate: - In many social video projects. He/she will participate in the editing of movies, and will be brought to occupy varied positions such as journalist, camera person, director, sound recorders or manager

ACCOMMODATION, FOOD AND TRANSPORT ARRANGEMENTS

The volunteers of the European Solidarity Corps program will share and live in a flat with all appliances available provided by URBAN PROD. URBAN PROD also provides: - 276 euros for return travel ticket to/from France - a monthly fee for local transport card Each Volunteer will receive 300 euros/per month for pocket money and food

TRAINING DURING THE ACTIVITY

Trainings on digital skills and audio-visual technics - French courses provided to ESC volunteers to enhance their experience at URBAN PROD.

PARTICIPANT PROFILE

Participants motivation is based on their interest for the digital inclusion of disadvantaged groups of people. They will have basic skills in audiovisual media production. Knowledge of basic French is an advantage to enhance your experience as Volunteer at URBAN PROD.
