Applications are now open to participate in the 5th edition of our YOUth in ACTivism learning program, which we organize once again in cooperation with and at Olde Vechte Foundation!
“YOUth ACTivist Camp” edition brings together 40 LGBTQIA+ and allies youth in a shared space, where you can explore and experience different forms of activism through non-formal learning. It’s gonna be playful, interactive, colorful, and dynamic!

At Active Rainbow, we look forward to bringing to life our annual activistic summer camp in picturesque Ommen! This program is very special to us, and to our youth who have already participated in the previous editions. So far, we count more than 160+ people who have directly been impacted by their participation. See you in Ommen!?

We are an educational platform and community of people that celebrate personal growth and inclusivity. Our platform is open, accessible, and welcomes everyone who is interested in non-formal learning, mobility opportunities, and contributing their verse to society.
Active Rainbow was founded in 2014 and started at first as a self-organized initiative. Since 2020, it is an organization in Latvia.
Our team is active in the field of youth work and in the implementation of learning programs for the past 11 years, working on a local, national, European and international level. We have established and leading a sustainable network of organizations, collectives and informal groups working with LGBTQIA+/Queer Education, and sharing mutual values for increasing the quality of inclusive, intersectional, accessible and safe youth work.
