CONNECTING AND ENGAGING OVER THE BALTIC SEA

Do you want to develop your leadership skills? Do you want to get a better grip of a neighboring country? Would you like to gain new contacts in Latvia and Sweden?

If yes – the Young Professionals´ program is for you – a unique opportunity to connect over the Baltic Sea!

This program is an exceptional chance to learn, to broaden horizons, and to diversify perceptions for you in the age range of around 20-35, with either proven leadership skills or a sincere interest in leadership. It is free of charge, including transportation and accommodation costs. Eight participants from each country are chosen.

Your investment is time – 5 working days of intensive interaction through discussions with high-profile knowledgeable speakers as well as with other participants. The content is specially designed by the Sweden-Latvia Cooperation fund in cooperation with Swedbank and SEB.

What is expected from you is that you are present on all occasions and to present a report at the end of the program. This is an unique opportunity to get a better understanding of the peculiarities and subtleties of Swedish and Latvian ways of reasoning, and to develop lasting friendships and networks which can be of great importance to you both personally and professionally.

The dates you commit to are:

Date to be confirmed – a reception at the Embassy of Latvia in Sweden for Swedish participants and correspondingly - a reception at the Embassy of Sweden in Latvia for Latvian participants.

May 23 – digital kick-off, around an hour to have a first glimpse of the whole group, and for information about the upcoming meetings.

June 1-2 in Riga (arriving in the evening on May 31st, followed by two full working days)

September 11-12 in Stockholm (arriving on Sunday September 10, followed by two full working days)
