📍 Fresno de Cantespino, Segovia, Spain
📆 23rd – 27th April 2026 (excluding travel days)

🌑 Rabbit on the Moon is a 5-day immersive training course for youth workers and educators who want to bring the wisdom of the body into their educational practice. In a fast-paced and often disconnected world, this journey invites you to slow down, reconnect, and return to your community grounded, inspired, and resourced.

🧘Through embodiment, authentic movement, and kinesthetic learning, the training explores how emotional awareness and physical presence can deepen connection, empathy, and care in youth work. The course offers a safe and reflective space to “spice up” your daily practice with tools rooted in mindfulness, ethics, and safety.

💡 During the training you will:

  • Explore body-based principles to enrich workshops and youth programmes
  • Practice self-regulation and empathy through daily meditation and movement (influenced by Butoh)
  • Engage in dialogue on ethics, accessibility, and inclusivity in body-based work
  • Connect with nature and the arts (poetry, storytelling) as tools for well-being
  • Co-live in a learning community, practicing care for yourself, others, and the environment

🦸 This program is for you if:

  • You are a youth worker, educator, or mentor supporting young people’s well-being
  • You have experience in non-formal education or are a professional/student in psychology or mental health
  • You are motivated by movement, dance, meditation, or the arts
  • You work with (or wish to support) young people facing social or personal challenges
  • You are 18+ years old and able to communicate in basic English
  • You are willing to co-live, contribute to community tasks, and share your learning back home

Active Rainbow

We are an educational platform and community of people that celebrate personal growth and inclusivity. Our platform is open, accessible, and welcomes everyone who is interested in non-formal learning, mobility opportunities, and contributing their verse to society.

Active Rainbow was founded in 2014 and started at first as a self-organized initiative. Since 2020, it is an organization in Latvia.

Our team is active in the field of youth work and in the implementation of learning programs for the past 11 years, working on a local, national, European and international level. We have established and leading a sustainable network of organizations, collectives and informal groups working with LGBTQIA+/Queer Education, and sharing mutual values for increasing the quality of inclusive, intersectional, accessible and safe youth work.

[Our Vision] We contribute to the creation of a world where diversity is welcomed and celebrated as a value.

[Our Mission] We are committed to strengthen the implementation of Human Rights and improve the quality of LGBT+ spectrum education, by offering learning opportunities for people to grow and thrive.
