Active Rainbow
2nd Aug 2025, 10:00 AM - 2nd Aug 2025, 4:00 PM
🌊 Hello everyone, this time in our Beyond Movement programme, we invite you on a special journey outside the city into nature, into presence, into the flow.
🫧We will take a little trip to the seaside to experience movement in connection with the natural elements around us and we will breathe the fresh air and connect with nature’s flow through movement and meditation, involving some rituals to ground ourselves within our surroundings and bodies.
Guided by nature and by each other, we’ll explore how it feels to move with our surroundings, not separate from them.
📅 Saturday, 2nd of August
Meeting at Origo at 13:15 → Train departs at 13:38 (Riga–Kalngale)
Movement session: 15:00–18:00
Picnic & chill time: 18:00–19:00
Return train from Kalngale at 19:56
✨ For queer youth and allies who want to explore movement, ritual, and stillness in a supportive, inclusive space. No experience needed, just come with curiosity, a water bottle, and something comfy to move in.

We are an educational platform and community of people that celebrate personal growth and inclusivity. Our platform is open, accessible, and welcomes everyone who is interested in non-formal learning, mobility opportunities, and contributing their verse to society.
Active Rainbow was founded in 2014 and started at first as a self-organized initiative. Since 2020, it is an organization in Latvia.
Our team is active in the field of youth work and in the implementation of learning programs for the past 11 years, working on a local, national, European and international level. We have established and leading a sustainable network of organizations, collectives and informal groups working with LGBTQIA+/Queer Education, and sharing mutual values for increasing the quality of inclusive, intersectional, accessible and safe youth work.
[Our Vision] We contribute to the creation of a world where diversity is welcomed and celebrated as a value.
[Our Mission] We are committed to strengthen the implementation of Human Rights and improve the quality of LGBT+ spectrum education, by offering learning opportunities for people to grow and thrive.
Our motto is - learning made simple, yet significant.
